You might have heard that last name before since the Beck family owns Tessy Plastics and has 6 locations in Upstate NY. Riley Beck is the grandson of Henry and Helga Beck. 

He grew up in Central Virginia with his parents but always knew he wanted to move here to join in the family business. Livia is from Brazil and when she was in high school she decided to go on a life changing experience, she was an exchange student in Virginia.

 “My host family and Riley’s family were close and shared a passion for motocross. We ended up meeting on a track and finding out we were seniors at the same high school. Soon after, we started dating and it lasted the whole entire year. We graduated together in 2015 but I had to go back to Brazil. We tried long distance for awhile but that didn’t last long since I was going to college and had no plans to come back to the US and Riley was going to Upstate NY to pursue his career.”

Nine years went by with no communication and living in different parts of the country. Until 2022, through social media Riley reached out to Livia and went to visit her in Brazil. Then they had a deal that she would come and see how she would like the “american lifestyle”. She was doing Law School in Brazil and decided to take a semester break to spend some time here, in Skaneateles.

A year went by and their relationship grew stronger. Both more mature and knowing what they wanted. Riley proposed and they got married in 2023, having the reception in October of 2024 with friends and family from Brazil, NY and Virginia. 

You can find the young couple skiing, and snowmobiling during the winter. And enjoying many outdoor activities during the warmer months like boating, motocross, shooting, pickle ball, rock climbing, mountain biking, and much more. Also they love spending time with family, friends and definitely their puppies. 

Now they are excited to announce that their family will be growing on August, a baby boy is on the way!!!
