Central New York’s hearts were open & we felt the love this Valentine’s Day. On February 11 and 12, The Upstate Foundation’s Radiothon for Kids raised $221,906 in two days of fundraising, thanks to hundreds of community donations. Nearly 1,400 donors contributed to the 2025 Radiothon for Kids. The Radiothon transformed the hospital lobby into a TV and radio station with help of media sponsors Newsradio570 WSYR, Y94 and CNY Central. 

We are deeply grateful for the incredible generosity shown by our Central New York community during this year’s Radiothon for Kids. Every call to the phone bank, text to give, online donation, or check sent in contributed to this grand total. This collective impact & outpouring of support will directly help children and families in their times of need at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital. 

When you give to Radiothon for Kids, you’re giving more than a donation. 

You’re giving specialized equipment to a family that wouldn’t be able to afford it otherwise.

You’re providing magical moments to kids spending holidays in the hospital.

You’re supplying comfort to parents as they grapple with a new diagnosis.

 You’re offering security through covered expenses for families when their child’s diagnosis results in lost income. Things like utilities, car payments, & medical co-pays.
