For the past 20 years, the Skaneateles Area Arts Council (SKARTS) has been committed to art and culture to fuel our imaginations, cultivate our humanity and allow us to see ourselves and one another. On this 20th anniversary of our organization, we are proud to present your opportunity to support the arts.

SKARTS invites you to the 9th Art4SKARTS Juried Art Show & Sale, celebrating the abundant talent throughout our community. As our only annual fundraising event, your attendance and support is crucial to sustaining the cultural arts and life of our community. This is a rare opportunity to purchase exceptional artwork while making a lasting investment and contribution to the arts.

This year’s featured artist is Michael DiGeorge, a representational artist working primarily in oil. Through thoughtful composition, nuanced light and expressive brushwork, his work invites viewers to pause, reflect and connect with the stories unfolding within each scene.

The jurors were Marietta Bolster and Rachel Harms.

Opening Reception: Thursday October 1, 5-8pm. Meet the artists-enjoy music, art, and light refreshments

Location: Hartlot Happening, 639 Hartlot Road, Elbridge, NY

Tickets: $60 per person. A portion of your ticket price is tax-deductible

Show continues Friday and Saturday 11am-4pm. Tickets are available at art4skarts.org

Our gratitude to those of you who have supported us in the past. Please consider a sponsorship or advance ticket purchase for this milestone event.

Every artwork purchased helps to sustain the arts in our community and benefits the SKARTS annual Grants Program, which since 2006, has issued over $120,000 for community events, museums, gallery projects, educational programs, local arts groups, and individual artists throughout the Skaneateles community and surrounding areas.

We look forward to celebrating 20 years with you on October 1st at Art4SKARTS!
