Happy Fall Yall!

There’s something about fall in Skaneateles that makes us want to slow down, savor the season, and appreciate the little things. The sweaters, puffies, and fleeces are coming out of the closets, the crisp air has arrived, and the landscape is beginning its beautiful transformation.
It’s the perfect time to explore our woods and trails, visit local farms, enjoy the season’s harvest, and take in all the beauty that makes this community so special. And, of course, fall wouldn’t be complete without warm apple cider, hearty soups, and just one more slice of pumpkin pie. If you have a favorite fall recipe, we’d love for you to share it with us!
With school back in full swing, Halloween is just around the corner. Costumes are being dreamed up, from superheroes and princesses to monsters, aliens, and everything in between. We’d love to see the creativity of our youngest Stroll readers! Send us your Halloween photos for a chance to be featured in next month’s issue.
As I think about this season of gathering and gratitude, I’m especially thankful for the people who make Stroll Skaneateles what it is. To all of our wonderful contributors, thank you for sharing your stories, photographs, ideas, and talents with us each month. And to our incredible advertising partners, thank you for believing in Stroll and supporting this community publication. Your partnership truly makes it possible.
Most of all, I’m grateful for the opportunity to tell the stories of the people, families, businesses, and organizations that make Skaneateles such a wonderful place to call home.
If you enjoy Stroll and know a local business that would benefit from connecting with the Skaneateles community, we’d love to hear from you. Please send your recommendations to aline.moses@n2co.com.
Here’s to crisp mornings, colorful leaves, cozy evenings, and a fall season filled with gratitude and connection!
