The historic St. Petersburg Woman’s Club was buzzing with excitement as Stroll Magazine, in partnership with the Snell Isle Property Owners Association, hosted a special evening honoring Snell Isle’s 100th Anniversary at the end of 2025. Neighbors, local business partners, and community leaders gathered to raise a glass to one of St. Petersburg’s most cherished and storied neighborhoods.  

Throughout the evening, Stroll Magazine's owner, Lindsey Howell, and Managing Director, Gina Ghiglietti, invited a variety of speakers to the podium. First up, Nancy Howard of the St Petersburg Women's Club spoke of the history and services the Women's Club offers, followed by Scott Tielemans, President of the Snell Isle Property Owners Association, who shared the story of our community's development, community updates, and the vision for SIPOA's future efforts in the neighborhood. 

Adding to the significance of the celebration, Mayor Ken Welch made a welcomed stop, joining the festivities and congratulating Snell Isle on a century of growth, community, and architectural beauty. His appearance highlighted the importance of the milestone and the pride the city shares in Snell Isle’s legacy.

Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a warm, elegant atmosphere—dressed with historic charm, lively conversation, and a shared appreciation for community. Attendees mingled with friends and neighbors while savoring a curated selection of delicious bites, refreshing beverages, and engaging activities, including a spirited 50/50 raffle, benefiting the St. Petersburg Woman’s Club.

A highlight of the night came with a celebratory champagne toast, recognizing Snell Isle’s rich 100-year history and the generations of residents who have shaped it into one of St. Pete’s most admired neighborhoods.
