Let's celebrate with a poem from our very own resident poet, Jacqueline N. Cotman!
THE MIDNIGHT SAIL AWAY
After a shop until you drop, a Bahamian experience to dote.
Board the vessel again by walking over the well secured moat.
Present a secuchec ship’s card for admittance to a long and tall cruising boat.
On this midnight spring, an easy float, to devour a buffet lined with lots of food and roasted goat!
For a night in the Nassau Sound, put on a pashmina or a light coat.
Check out deck eleven of Monarch’s note.
It’s quite okay to pass on the mariner’s quote,
“For extra later bites, carry a tote.”
Just an event filled trip made from my daughter’s vote.
After imbibing a Goombay Smash, that’s all I wrote!
