Ivy Zehnder Has an Adventurous Spirit

She's growing and glowing in Snell Isle

Seven-year-old Ivy Zehnder brings sunshine to Snell Isle with her boundless energy, creative spark, and love for all things outdoors. A proud second grader at LCC Day School, Ivy is easy to spot, not just for her curly hair and left-handed flair, but for the enthusiasm she carries into every activity she tries.
When it comes to sports, Ivy cheers loudest for Florida State, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Tampa Bay Rays. But she’s not just a fan; she’s an athlete in her own right. Ivy spends many afternoons flipping and balancing as part of the Tampa Bay Turners gymnastics team. She’s also a rising golfer, as she placed 3rd in the Drive, Chip & Putt Tournament, as well as an eager horseback rider who feels right at home in the saddle.
Outside of sports, Ivy’s interests are as wide as her smile. She loves to cook with her mom, hike, swim, draw, and explore the outdoors with her brother and sister, especially in their treehouse hideaway. Each summer, she heads to Camp Merri-Mac in North Carolina, where her adventurous spirit gets to roam even farther. Ivy also dreams of learning to play the violin one day, adding music to her already full list of skills.
Her love for animals runs deep, which is why she hopes to become a veterinarian when she grows up. With her gentle nature and big heart, it’s easy to imagine her caring for every creature that comes her way.
Ivy’s favorites reflect her fun personality: pancakes for breakfast, Red Mesa or Chick-fil-A for a treat, and Home Alone for movie night. You might even catch her singing along to Morgan Wallen on the way to her next activity. Some of her happiest memories are made on family vacations to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and Sea Island, Georgia, places where she can enjoy nature and family time all at once.
What does Ivy love most about Stroll Snell Isle? “Getting to know my neighbors,” she says, and with her warm, cheerful spirit, we’re pretty sure her neighbors are going to love getting to know her too.
If you spot Ivy out playing, practicing, or exploring, be sure to wave hello. She’s one of Snell Isle’s brightest young achievers, and her future looks every bit as vibrant as she is.
