Jillian’s journey into the event world began long before she started her business in 2020. With years of experience as a banquet and catering manager, she was always the one behind the scenes decorating for events. Her natural eye for detail, love for design, and artistic spirit inspired her to take a leap of faith and launch Jillian Elizabeth Creates during the pandemic.

“I’ve always been artistic, and bringing people’s visions from paper to real life photo ops is my passion,” Jillian explains. What started as a creative outlet has since grown into a thriving local business known for its personal touch and artistry.

What makes Jillian’s business truly unique is her hands-on approach. She runs every aspect of her company herself—from creating balloon garlands and backdrops to managing rentals and coordinating with clients. Unlike larger event companies, Jillian works one-on-one with every customer, ensuring she fully understands their vision.

“I hand make everything myself and I like to make sure I’m working closely with the customer,” she says. “That way I know I’m bringing their vision to life.” This attention to detail and personalized service is what keeps her clients coming back and recommending her to others.

Community connection is central to Jillian’s mission. She frequently participates in local charity events and even organizes her own markets to bring small businesses together. One upcoming highlight is the Tipsy Tinsel Market, which she co-hosts with two other locally owned businesses on December 13 at the Statler (save the date!). Events like these showcase her creativity and also help strengthen Buffalo’s small business community.

Jillian’s ties to Buffalo run deep—she grew up here, has lived here her whole life, and comes from a family that’s equally entrepreneurial. Her brother owns the popular restaurant Falley Allen in Allentown, and her sister runs a boutique in New Hampshire. With roots firmly planted in Western New York, Jillian is proud to contribute to the vibrancy of her hometown.

As for the future, Jillian hopes to keep growing her business and continuing to make celebrations magical for years to come. She attributes her success to her strong relationships with local clients who recommend her to friends and family. “I’m most grateful for how far I’ve come since the beginning,” she shares.
