Flowery Branch Chiropractic:

Caring for Sterling Residents, One Adjustment at a Time

Dr. Tanya & Dr. Chris

Dr. Chris and Dr. Tanya Turner, the husband-and-wife team behind Flowery Branch Chiropractic in Georgia, have built their lives and careers around healing, community, and service. Proud residents of Sterling on the Lake since 2005, their story is one of purpose found through personal experience and shared passion. Visit www.flowerybranchchiro.com to book your appointment.

Their paths first crossed at Life University, where both were studying chiropractic care. For Dr. Chris, the journey to chiropractic began after serving eight years in the U.S. Army, including time in Desert Storm. His military service instilled in him a strong sense of discipline, leadership, and a desire to help others. These values continue to guide his approach to patient care today. Originally on track for a pre-dental degree at Emory University, he discovered chiropractic after finding relief from chronic shoulder and sinus pain and soon realized he wanted to provide that same relief to others.

Dr. Tanya’s path was shaped by her own health journey. A former nutritionist and personal trainer, she turned to chiropractic care after a car accident. The results were life-changing, inspiring her to pursue chiropractic as a career herself.

After completing their studies, the Turners worked in separate offices before deciding to settle in Flowery Branch. Drawn to the small-town charm and community feel reminiscent of Chris’s Brookhaven childhood, they found Sterling on the Lake to be the perfect place to raise their two sons and establish roots.

Their sons, Gregory and Joey, grew up surrounded by a strong work ethic that they carried into their studies and careers. Gregory is pursuing a degree in digital animation at Kennesaw State University. Joey is studying engineering while actively involved in track and field at Columbus State University, with plans to transfer to UGA this January. The family remains active members of the Prince of Peace congregation, where faith and community continue to play an important role in their lives.

In 2006, the Turners opened Flowery Branch Chiropractic, realizing their dream of creating a family-oriented practice focused on personalized care. Their approach goes beyond adjustments, offering patients comprehensive treatment plans that may include physiotherapy, rehabilitation, laser therapy, and nutritional support. With a team of three doctors, their specialties range from pregnancy and pediatrics to sports and personal injury care. The practice plans to expand further by adding Functional Medicine and Hyperbaric Therapy.

The Turners’ impact extends far beyond their office. Flowery Branch Chiropractic regularly donates first-day fees to local charities and partners with community organizations to help those in need. Their annual “Help Santa Save Christmas” drive began 17 years ago when their eldest son wanted to help a friend facing a difficult holiday. Since then, it has provided gifts and essentials for hundreds of local children. This year, their goal is to help another 100 children, and they’re inviting community members and businesses to join the effort.

As the holidays approach, Dr. Chris and Dr. Tanya Turner remain grateful for the Flowery Branch community they serve, both in health and in heart.
