Learning, Growing, and Giving Back with Eagle Ranch

At Eagle Ranch, learning extends beyond academics—it’s about strengthening families, building confidence, and creating a community of support. On June 14, 2025, over 1,300 guests experienced this mission in action at the 8th annual Run the Ranch and 2nd annual Family Fest. While the event featured a 5K, Nature Walk, and Fun Run with more than 300 race participants, its deeper purpose was clear: to connect the community with Eagle Ranch’s work of healing and hope.

Family Fest served as both a celebration and a meaningful outreach event. With more than 100 volunteers and 20+ community sponsors, the day offered attendees a chance to explore Eagle Ranch’s Flowery Branch campus, engage with staff and volunteers, and learn how this local nonprofit serves children and families across North Georgia.

Eagle Ranch supports boys and girls in grades 4 through 11 through both residential and day school programs. Their SACS-accredited school provides small class sizes, personalized instruction, and integrated therapeutic care. These services help students overcome academic and emotional challenges, all while building resilience and long-term stability.

But the Ranch’s commitment to growth doesn’t end with children. One of the most impactful aspects of their mission is the investment in whole-family healing. Eagle Ranch offers outpatient services through The Wings Center, where individuals, couples, and families can receive counseling for anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting stress, and marital challenges. These services are crafted not just to respond to immediate crises, but to equip families with tools for lasting transformation.

As part of that commitment, Eagle Ranch offers First Step Counseling—a free initial session with a professional counselor designed to provide guidance and stabilization during difficult times—with additional sessions available on a sliding scale. Whether or not families continue services with Eagle Ranch, First Step Counseling helps chart a personalized path forward. Counselors work closely with families to determine the best course of action, including referrals to trusted community partners when needed.

This holistic, compassionate approach was reflected in the spirit of Family Fest. From shared meals to meaningful conversations, every moment on campus reinforced Eagle Ranch’s belief that healing happens best when families are supported together.

As the sun set on another meaningful Family Fest, guests left with more than race medals and shared memories—they walked away with a clearer understanding of the heart behind Eagle Ranch: serving children and families.

Recognizing that every family faces a unique set of challenges, Eagle Ranch meets people where they are—offering practical guidance, therapeutic care, and hope for a flourishing future. Over the years, their mission has grown to include new services and expanded resources, all designed to walk alongside families as they navigate their individual paths to healing.

Eagle Ranch is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization committed to helping families renew and restore their relationships through a whole-family approach. To learn more about Eagle Ranch’s programs, First Step Counseling, or ways to get involved, visit eagleranch.org.
