Meet Dr. Chris and Dr. Tanya Turner, the dynamic duo behind Flowery Branch Chiropractic and proud residents of the picturesque Sterling on the Lake community. Their journey into the world of chiropractic care was born out of personal experiences that transformed their lives and careers.

The Turners' paths converged during their time at Life University, where they both pursued their chiropractic education. Dr. Chris had initially embarked on a pre-dental degree at Emory University but found a different calling after serving his country in the Army for eight years, including a stint in Desert Storm. Chiropractic care provided him relief from shoulder and sinus issues, inspiring him to become a chiropractor himself.

Similarly, Dr. Tanya's career took an unexpected turn after a car accident led her to seek chiropractic care. The treatment not only addressed her accident-related concerns but also ignited a passion for chiropractic healing. She transitioned from being a nutritionist and personal trainer to becoming a chiropractor.

After completing their studies, the couple worked in different offices before deciding to relocate to Sterling on the Lake in 2005. The community's resemblance to Chris's childhood hometown in Brookhaven, with its emphasis on swimming, tennis, and lakeside living, drew them in. Falling in love with Flowery Branch, they decided to establish their own practice, making it their new hometown and professional base.

Sterling on the Lake provided an idyllic backdrop for raising their two sons, Gregory and Joey. Gregory will be continuing his academic journey at Kennesaw in January, while Joey is pursuing studies in engineering and participating in track and field at Columbus State University. The Turners firmly believed that Flowery Branch was the ideal place for their sons to grow up, and they were committed to contributing to its vibrancy and community spirit. Active members of the Prince of Peace congregation, Dr. Chris and Dr. Tanya have also been deeply involved in their church community. Dr. Chris served as a scout leader, and Dr. Tanya frequently volunteers within the local community.

In 2006, the Turners realized their dream by establishing Flowery Branch Chiropractic. Their commitment to quality chiropractic care is unwavering. They advocate for a comprehensive approach to patient care, emphasizing the importance of thorough consultations, examinations, and X-rays to fully understand a patient's condition. Their personalized treatment plans encompass chiropractic care, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, laser therapy, and nutritional guidance. The practice now boasts a team of three, soon to be four doctors with specializations in pregnancy, pediatrics, sports injuries, geriatrics, and personal injury cases, including those stemming from car accidents. Collaborative relationships with local doctors and physical therapists ensure comprehensive patient care.

Beyond their professional endeavors, Flowery Branch Chiropractic embodies a strong philanthropic mission. They donate all first-day fees to charitable causes and regularly support local charities chosen by their employees. In the spirit of giving, they are poised to donate over $30,000 this year alone. A highlight of their charitable efforts is the annual Christmas drive, which began when their eldest son, Gregory, sought to help a friend in need. The Turners initiated the "Help Santa Save Christmas" drive, which has assisted hundreds of children over the past 15 years. Their goal this year is to aid another 100 children, and they invite patients and local businesses to join this heartwarming initiative.
