German Auto & Exotics

For Gino Lancellotti, cars are more than a career—they're a family tradition. As the second and third generation of the Lancellotti family to run German automotive repair shops, Gino, his wife Debbie, and their sons Sam and Christian are continuing a proud legacy with German Auto & Exotics, a family-owned business located near the DMV and Legacy Park Fairgrounds in Hurricane. Opened in 2023, the shop brings decades of experience, specialized tools, and a passion for performance to Southern Utah’s automotive scene.
Gino’s roots run deep in the industry. Growing up in Simi Valley, California, he worked alongside his father Sam, who opened his first German auto repair shop in the 1970s. Over 28 years, Gino honed his skills, eventually completing the BMW STEP Program to become a Master Technician. He and Debbie opened their first shop, German Auto Specialist, in 2012, and after a decade of success, they sold it and relocated to Hurricane, where they’d already fallen in love with the area during family vacations.
Today, the shop specializes in servicing German and exotic vehicles, offering dealer-level diagnostics and tools for brands like BMW, Porsche, Audi, and Mercedes. From classics of the '60s to the latest 2025 models, Gino’s team has the experience and equipment to handle it all. Their clean, organized facility and welcoming customer service reflect the care they put into every vehicle—and every relationship.
But what truly sets German Auto & Exotics apart is the sense of family. “We want people to feel at home when they walk through our doors,” Gino says. With free shuttle services and significant savings compared to dealership prices, the shop is built around convenience, trust, and community.
Giving back is important to the Lancellotti family. They participate in local and regional car events, from the Easter Car Show to tech talks with the Porsche Owners Club. They've also supported cancer fundraisers with Gaudin Porsche and Intermountain Hospital.
Gino attributes his success to honesty, integrity, and staying ahead of the curve. “Keeping up with basic vehicle maintenance is the best way to prevent future issues,” he advises. “And finding a shop you can trust makes all the difference.”
For the Lancellottis, Hurricane isn’t just where they work—it’s home. And through German Auto & Exotics, they’re building more than a business—they’re building relationships, one satisfied customer at a time.
