On a balmy, mid-July evening, Stroll held its Neighbors Night Out at the elegant and comfortably cool Stonebridge Country Club. The main banquet room at Stonebridge is a one-of-a-kind venue, with large open views of the golf course as well as sprawling green areas and beautiful trees. Over 100 neighbors and sponsors responded to the invitation and the room was buzzing with people meeting and catching up in a relaxed, welcoming area.

The club offered some great food including tasty cheddar sliders with all the trimmings, spring rolls, hummus and veggies as well as bruschetta with a tomato topping. A cash bar was serving up beer, wine and mixed drinks and there was table service throughout the evening.

A special "thank you" to long time Stroll Stonebridge partner, The Byrne Group of Baird & Warner Naperville, for sponsoring one complimentary drink ticket for each of our guests. Lisa and Brady Byrne were also kind enough to donate a free raffle prize...a custom portrait of the winner's own home, illustrated by a local artist. Such a unique and memorable keepsake!  

Stonebridge Country Club General Manager Jimmy Dziekan welcomed our guests and shared more about the club's history, recent improvements, and the opportunities for membership. Congratulations to Stonebridge resident Greg Jones for winning a complimentary golf foursome to Stonebridge!

Stroll Stonebridge publisher and owner Steve Hirner raffled off a few additional prizes and recognized all Stroll partners in attendance, giving each one an opportunity to discuss what their local businesses provide. These nights out are a great way to meet people that live and work in the area and to talk with them about the services they offer. It is also a nice way to meet new friends and catch up with neighbors.

Stroll hosts these events regularly at various locations, and allows people the chance to discover things they may not realize are in the area. The times and locations are always listed in the pages of each issue, so take a few minutes to find out where the next get together is.
