Dancin’ in the Street will once again transform downtown into an open-air party filled with live entertainment, local flavor and summertime energy.

What began more than 20 years ago to draw visitors to Downtown Rochester during the annual Sidewalk Sales quickly became an instant hit. The idea was simple: combine shopping, dining and live music to create a lively community event that encouraged people to stay downtown after the stores closed. This year’s celebration expands to two nights of music and fun, giving guests even more opportunities to dance the night away in the heart of downtown. High-energy performances will keep the streets rocking with Space Cat taking the stage on Friday night and crowd favorite Your Generation performing on Saturday.
