Last summer, 19 Britton Falls neighbors boarded an AmaWaterways riverboat for an unforgettable journey along the Rhine River. The cruise began in Amsterdam and traveled through several beautiful and historic cities along the river, including stops in France, Germany, and Switzerland (as well as the Netherlands, where the journey began).

Many travelers chose to enhance their experience by signing up for the pre-cruise extension in Amsterdam, spending a couple of extra days exploring the city before embarkation. Others continued the adventure with a post-cruise extension to Lucerne and Zurich, Switzerland. A few enthusiastic explorers even added additional time on their own, visiting other countries and cities such as Austria and beyond.

Everything about the trip was fabulous—from the comfort of the boat and the attentive, friendly staff to the outstanding food and knowledgeable tour guides. It was truly a memorable experience for everyone who participated.
