An American Tradition
As America marks 250 years of independence, Edinburgh Scouts continue a proud tradition of leadership, service, and adventure, building the skills, friendships, and character that will shape the next generation.
For more than a century, Scouting has helped young Americans to become ethical, responsible, and productive citizens through a program of character development, citizenship training, and physical and mental fitness. Here in Edinburgh, local Scouts and leaders carry that legacy forward through campouts, service projects, high-adventure treks, and lasting friendships. Meet a few of the Scouts and leaders continuing this enduring American tradition.
