The Mannings have enjoyed the community lifestyle of Edinburgh since August 2013.  Tina tells us, "Being a part of a very social community with year-round activities for children and adults has always been important to us. We have met many amazing neighborhood friends through various social events, Edinburgh Alta & USTA tennis teams, Marlins Swim team, and Bear’s Best golf course."

The Mannings recently added Kobe, a 10-month-old male Parti Yorkie, to their family. A Parti Yorkie (Parti-colored Yorkshire Terrier) is a Yorkshire Terrier with a three-color coat instead of the traditional blue and tan. A Parti Yorkie is a pure-bred Yorkshire Terrier. The white coloring comes from a recessive gene, making Kobe rather unique within his breed.

The Mannings brought Kobe home just after Christmas of 2025. They found their Yorkie through Patricia Lee, a Yorkie breeder. They initially named him Toby. Since there is already a Toby in Edinburgh, our boys named him Kobe, after Kobe Bryant. He can jump 3 feet high onto Carson’s bed and is super fast. Kobe is super shy and timid at meeting new people right now, but very loyal, lovable, and so happy to be part of the Manning family. He almost never barks but remains alert and is still an excellent watchdog. 

Kobe is quite the trickster with adorable habits! He can stand on his hind legs straight up for long periods. The Mannings have only had him for a few months, so they are still getting to know his talents and skills and working on training. He loves a small slice of banana with his morning breakfast, and his favorite chew treat is “Better Belly” Dental rawhide chews. He also loves the Benebone Wishbone Durable Dog Chew Toy for Aggressive Chewers, Real Bacon Flavor.

The Mannings are looking forward to many more memories, but loved giving him his first bath and watching him get frisky afterward. Kobe is still meeting new friends slowly since he is so shy, but he loves his new big buddy, Dexter, a Golden Retriever Pyrenees mix owned by neighbors Lorraine & Chuck Lee, and Frank, a Long-Haired Dachshund owned by Kyle Wilson, who is the official office pet at Tina’s job with Veugeler Creative. Kobe enjoys staying with Mom at work every day, sitting in her lap while she works on the computer.

He may be tiny, but he had a mighty big heart, and so very easy to love.
