Meet the Lepkofker Family
Throughout North Georgia, the Lepkofker Family represents Edinburgh well. Gary and Lisa Lepkofker are leading with heart—showing their daughters, neighbors, and the children of Room Redux that women can change the world, one room at a time.
March is International Women’s Month, a time to celebrate women who lead with strength, compassion, and purpose. In Edinburgh, one of those women is Lisa Lepkofker. A wife, mother, business owner, and nonprofit leader, Lisa has built a life rooted in service and connection. Through her work with Room Redux of Georgia, she is helping transform not only rooms, but futures. This month, we are honored to introduce the Lepkofker family, a household defined by love, resilience, and the impact of women leading with heart.
Say hello to the Lepkofkers, a close-knit family of five who have been longtime residents of Edinburgh. Gary, 68; Lisa, 58; Gianna, 25; and twins Angelica and Francesca, 18, moved to Georgia from South Florida in 2003 after Gary accepted a new job. Edinburgh quickly became home, and over the years, the community has become a meaningful part of their family story.
Lisa is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but spent most of her childhood in Florida. Gary, on the other hand, is New York through and through. The two met through a mutual friend, married at Disney World, and went on to raise three daughters in a household centered on love, laughter, and unwavering support.
Today, Lisa works in new construction real estate while also serving as a partner in the SELL Company and Room Redux of Georgia. Her professional life reflects her passion for building, whether that means homes, businesses, or brighter futures for children in need. Gary owns IT Lepko Inc. and is Lisa’s constant source of encouragement as she balances entrepreneurship and nonprofit leadership.
The Lepkofker daughters are confidently forging their own paths. Gianna, the oldest, holds her aesthetician license and currently works as a leasing agent in Nashville. The twins, Angelica and Francesca, are seniors at North Gwinnett High School and will be attending the University of North Georgia in the fall. Angelica works as a gymnastics coach at Georgia Gymnastics Academy, while Francesca works at Mellow Mushroom in Cumming. Each of the girls credits their mother’s strength and example as a guiding influence.
The family also includes a beloved four-legged member, Izzy, an eight-year-old pit mix who longtime readers may recognize from her appearance in the Stroll Edinburgh July 2025 Precious Pets column.
Celebration is central to the Lepkofkers' lives. Their holiday traditions are memorable and joyful, and this year brought another meaningful celebration with the Room Redux of Georgia Moonlight Masquerade Gala. Lisa has partnered with Room Redux since 2019 alongside her best friend, Stephanie Englerdt. Together, these two women have made a powerful impact throughout North Georgia by helping children who have experienced abuse through thoughtfully designed room transformations.
Held annually in late February at Bear’s Best, the Moonlight Masquerade Gala has become a highlight for both Room Redux and the Edinburgh community. Now in its second year, the event raised the bar with elegance, heart, and intention. Guests enjoyed a curated live auction featuring everything from girls’ trips and family experiences to a Formula One racing package, along with a silent auction filled with beautifully assembled baskets.
For Lisa, the evening was especially meaningful because she shared it with her family. All three daughters contributed to the gala in their own ways, and Gary remained by her side every step of the way. The event reflects what Room Redux is all about: camaraderie, chosen family, and the belief that one child’s healing can create a ripple effect across an entire community.
Lisa and Gary continue to live fully, love deeply, and celebrate often. That is why they love Stroll Edinburgh. Because Stroll celebrates stories that foster connection, growth, and opportunity. For the Lepkofker family, being featured feels like the next meaningful stroll alongside neighbors and friends.
Looking ahead, Lisa and her family hope to see their community continue to show up with support and compassion. Lisa especially hopes to welcome even more Edinburgh neighbors to the Room Redux of Georgia Gala in year three.
