Holding Onto Summer
One more sunset. One more swim. One more memory before we welcome a season of fresh beginnings.
I've always been a fan of sticky popsicle fingers, bare feet, catching lightning bugs (or fireflies, depending on what you call them), and staying outside until the stars take over the sky. There's something magical about warm summer evenings that makes me wish we could press pause just a little longer. Even as backpacks come out and a new school year begins, I'm holding onto the summer breeze, late sunsets, and all the memories this season has given us.
One of my favorite memories from this summer was seeing so many Edinburgh neighbors celebrating America 250 together. Whether at community events or spending time with family and friends, it was a wonderful reminder that the connections we share are what make this neighborhood so special.
As students head back to school, I wish each of you a fantastic year ahead. To our youngest learners, our high school students, and our college students beginning a new adventure, I'm cheering you on and hoping this year is filled with growth, new friendships, and success.
Thank you to every resident who shared a story, submitted photos, or helped create this Back to School issue. Stroll Edinburgh is truly a community publication, and it wouldn't be possible without neighbors willing to share their time and talents.
