The name “Maison,” meaning “home” in French, is a nod to both Louisiana’s Cajun heritage and the practice’s philosophy: dentistry should be comfortable, personal, and rooted in community.

Both Dr. Mullen and Dr. Murray discovered their passion for dentistry through a love of creativity, technology, and helping others. Though they grew up in different states, their paths converged in dental school and later during their advanced residency at the Foundry Dental Center in Alabama. There, they gained hands-on experience in complex implant surgeries, cosmetic transformations, and sedation dentistry, often serving underserved communities who otherwise lacked access to these treatments.

That shared training and philosophy became the foundation for Maison Dental Studio. As friends who realized they were planning to open separate practices just miles apart, Sam and Kaleb decided they could go further together. “We wanted to build something bigger than ourselves,” they explain. “A practice that combines modern technology with a personal, family-centered touch.”

Walking into Maison Dental Studio feels different from the start. The space is sleek and modern but softened with warm design touches that make patients feel at ease. The doctors believe dentistry shouldn’t feel cold or clinical. Instead, it should feel elevated, comfortable, and personal.

While advanced dentistry is at the core of what they do, Sam and Kaleb are just as passionate about being active members of the community. They’ve already begun looking at ways to give back, from involvement in local events to providing free sports mouthguards for young athletes in the area.
