Nana's Crawfish Cornbread

This month we're sharing one of our favorite family recipes, Nana's Crawfish Cornbread. From our kitchen to yours, we hope you enjoy this spicy Louisiana classic that’s packed with flavor and Southern charm!

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. of salt
  • 1 tsp. of baking soda
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. of oil
  • 1 bag of Mexican cornbread mix
  • 1 c. of grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 - 1/2 c. of chopped jalapenos
  • 1 can of cream style corn
  • 1 lb. of crawfish (or any seafood)
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 pan.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
