A hometown craftsman bringing responsive service, quality workmanship, and honest communication to every project whether big or small.
Anthony Esposito of PatchMaster, helping local homeowners keep their walls looking their best
If you’ve ever met Anthony Esposito in the neighborhood or seen the PatchMaster vans around town, you’ve already met the man behind WNY’s go-to drywall repair and small renovation service. Anthony owns PatchMaster of Buffalo, serving all of Erie and Niagara County with a simple promise: no job is too big, and nothing is too small.
Anthony launched PatchMaster in 2021 after a decade-long career in another industry. Like many, the pandemic turned his world upside down — his position was eliminated, and he found himself at a crossroads. “It was devastating,” he shared. “But I realized if I could build brands across the country and internationally in my previous career, I could build something right here at home.” PatchMaster aligned with his skillset, values, and resources, and he took the leap into entrepreneurship — a leap he’s now incredibly proud of.
Today, PatchMaster handles everything from scuffs and small wall patches to full-room renovations, including carpentry, painting, insulation, flooring, and more. While many contractors shy away from tiny fixes, Anthony built his model around responsiveness and welcoming the work most companies won’t touch.
And that philosophy matters because for Anthony, customer experience is the foundation of everything he does.
From the first phone call to the final walk-through, PatchMaster is known for punctuality, communication, and treating every project with the same attention to detail. “If you miss our call, we’re calling you back. If you think something needs another coat of paint, we’ll come look. If we agree, we’ll make it right. Our reputation is all we have, so we protect it.”
Anthony lives in East Amherst with his wife, Angela, and their eight-year-old daughter, Valentina, a young working actor who already landed national opportunities (her first “big break” actually came after performing a PatchMaster commercial Anthony wrote for her!). The family’s goldfish, won at the Erie County Fair, rounds out the household.
When he’s not on a job site, Anthony is a huge Bills fan, an avid golfer, and a martial arts practitioner alongside his daughter, who just earned her black belt in August. He’s proud to be closing in on his second degree in 2026. “It’s something we love doing together,” he said. “It’s a big part of our life.”
As for what motivates him? Anthony is grateful for the chance to build something of his own — something that supports his family and lets him be present in ways he never could while traveling for his former career. “My sweat equity doesn’t go into a corporation anymore. It goes toward my family. That means everything.”
When asked what advice he offers homeowners, Anthony didn’t hesitate: find contractors you can trust. “Everyone wants the cheapest, the fastest, and the best, but you typically only get two out of the three. The key is working with someone who communicates clearly, values your home, and stands behind the work.”
For residents, PatchMaster’s value is clear:
a responsive, local, detail-driven contractor who shows up, does the job right, and treats your home like his own.
