Snow, Smiles & Golden Eggs: A Memorable Easter Eggstravaganza

A little wind, a little snow, and a whole lot of fun brought the neighborhood together once again

This year’s Summerfield Easter Eggstravaganza may have come with a surprise twist of winter, but that didn’t stop neighbors from showing up, bundling up, and making the most of a truly memorable day.
With over 1,100 eggs spread across three hunt areas, excitement was in the air from the moment families arrived. The event featured three age-based groups—Carrots (ages 3 and under), Chicks (ages 4–6), and Bunnies (ages 7 and up). While the bunnies may have gotten a little eager and jumped into the action early, the carrots and chicks enjoyed their own well-paced hunts, each filled with laughter, energy, and plenty of eggs to collect.
The highlight for many was the coveted Golden Eggs. All 10 prize eggs were found, with lucky winners heading to the prize table to choose from an exciting selection of giveaways.
A special thank you goes out to our generous sponsors who made those prizes possible, including The Law Offices of Nicole FenZ, Moore Building and Renzy Floors, Advanced Sewer and Drain Cleaning/Plumbing Repair of WNY, and Stuteledge Innovation Summer Camps. We also appreciate Tommy Topsoil for contributing eggs and candy to help make the hunt extra special.
Families enjoyed more than just the egg hunts. The Town Line Fire Department brought out their fire truck, served hot cocoa, and handed out coloring books to the kids. Julie Parke of Hunt Real Estate was on site, sharing helpful resources, glow toy giveaways, and raffling off an adult Easter basket.
Of course, no Easter celebration would be complete without the Easter Bunny, who spent the afternoon taking photos, handing out treats, and creating special moments for families. The spring photo backdrop was once again a favorite, made possible with help from Buffalo Freddy for the throne chair and K&J Jakubowski Realtors.
A very special thank you to our Stroll events committee—Kara Kane, Maria Reese, and Christina Priola—whose time, effort, and dedication helped bring this event to life. Their behind-the-scenes work made all the difference in creating such a fun and memorable experience for everyone.
Most importantly, thank you to all of the families who came out, braved the weather, and made the day so special. From snowy smiles to golden egg victories, it was a day filled with connection, laughter, and community spirit.
