Meet Bowser, Princess Peach, and Baxter – The Scottish Fold Trio of the Riegert Family

It’s not every day you meet three Scottish Fold cats with as much charm, fluff, and personality as Bowser, Princess Peach, and Baxter. These adorable siblings—each just about a year and a half old—are the pride and joy of their owners, Carol and Eric Riegert, and a beloved sight in the neighborhood.
Bowser is the calm angel of the group—a true fluff ball with a heart full of love. Princess Peach lives up to her royal name with a shy, night-owl personality, quietly observing the world around her. And then there’s Baxter—the outgoing adventurer who greets everyone with a warm purr and an extra dose of friendliness.
Though they may look like cuddly stuffed animals with their big, expressive eyes and rounded ears, don’t let that fool you—they’re full of quirks. One of their most remarkable talents is their uncanny ability to resemble plush toys, making it hard for guests to resist reaching out for a cuddle.
They might look brave, but the one thing they haven’t quite conquered? Dogs. Their biggest fear is anything with a bark—though they’ll still bravely lounge in their sunny spots and act unbothered.
These sweet kitties joined the Riegert family from Ukraine when they were just five months old. From the very first day, they trusted their new humans and settled right into their forever home. They also share their home with Goose, a wise and patient seven-year-old Siamese who acts as the papa figure in the house. Together, the four cats form a tight-knit feline family.
When it comes to neighborhood friends, the trio has a few familiar furry faces they love (or love to observe)—including Dixie the Basset Hound, Snickers the Mini Aussie Doodle, and Latke, the Bichon-Shih Tzu mix.
Adventure seems to call especially to Baxter, who’s known for his door-dashing tendencies whenever someone heads outside. He’s curious, quick, and always hoping to explore the world beyond.
What are they most thankful for? Morning treats and loving scratches. And what do they love most about being part of the Riegert family? Simply being together. Whether snoozing, playing, or perched near the window, this bonded trio is happiest when they’re in the same room as their people.
After all, they aren’t just pets—they’re family.
