Annual Dublin Women’s Philanthropic Club Gala – On Friday, March 1, dress up for an enchanting evening at the DWPC Gala! This year’s theme, Masquerade Ball, promises a night of elegance, entertainment, and community celebration. All proceeds support the DWPC’s scholarship fund, which helps make a difference in the Dublin community for high school students and adults seeking financial support in their college education. Women’s Stitch & Share – Is knitting more or learning to knit on your bucket list? Come to the Dublin Branch on Mondays (March 3, 17, or 31) for Knitting in the Neighborhood from 6:30 to 8 p.m.! Make new friends while you create something fun with fibers. All skill levels are welcome, including absolute beginners. Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr. – The Emmy Award-winning 1970s Saturday morning cartoon series that taught through clever, tuneful songs comes to the musical stage! St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festivities – Soak in Dublin’s spirit of St. Patrick’s Day! The “Greenest, Grandest Parade” steps off at the Metro Center on Saturday, March 15 at 11 a.m., and approximately 110 groups – including marching bands, floats, and equestrian teams – will make their way through Historic Dublin. Before the parade, don’t forget to check out the St. Patrick’s Day pancake breakfast at Sells Middle School. There will also be a Shamrock Shuffle featuring food and drink specials between Historic Dublin and Bridge Park Read, with the opportunity to win the Pot O' Gold Grand Prize Package.
