July Message from the HOA

As we move into the heart of summer, as mentioned last month, you’ll begin to notice significant improvements taking shape throughout our community. The Board and Landscape Committee have been focused on enhancing the beauty, consistency, and long-term maintenance of many of the neighborhood’s most visible areas, especially our entrances and common spaces.

This season includes a major focus on entryway improvements across the community. Work is underway on irrigation overhauls, refreshed stonework, power washing, repainting of monument logos, and a complete facelift of the main entrances at Tartan Fields and Concord Road. The entrance along Mackenzie Avenue is also receiving a total makeover to help create a more polished and welcoming first impression throughout the neighborhood.

In addition to annual flower installations that should soon be in full bloom, the committee has also launched a program to introduce more perennial landscaping into our common areas. This long-term approach will provide additional color, texture, and sustainability while helping maintain a cohesive look throughout the community year after year.
Residents may also notice improvements to the Morris Pond walking path, which was repaved last month.

While much progress is being made, we continue to work through ongoing restoration and repair issues related to Altafiber and AT&T installation work throughout the community. We appreciate everyone’s patience as these items continue to be addressed.

The Board also recently finalized a working agreement with the golf club regarding areas of mutual maintenance, helping create better coordination and consistency across shared spaces.

A special thank you goes to Brian Peters for stepping into the role of Landscaping Committee Chair and dedicating significant time and effort toward these projects and the overall beautification of our neighborhood.

As a reminder to residents, all pets must remain on a leash while in common areas and throughout the neighborhood. We also want to remind homeowners that all exterior home improvements and modifications require Architectural Review Board (ARB) approval prior to work beginning.

We’re excited to see these improvements continue taking shape and appreciate everyone’s support in helping keep Tartan Fields beautiful.
