Meet Luxury Realtor Peggy Villagomez, specialist in Southwest Tarrant County Real Estate
From Lab Coats to Lockboxes: A Journey of Precision, Passion, and Purpose
The First Great Grandbaby
Peggy Villagomez is a seasoned luxury real estate agent based in Godley, Texas working with individuals and families throughout Southwest Tarrant County. Born and raised in East Texas, Peggy has built a life rooted in service, integrity, and hard work. She and her husband Ralph, a retired air traffic controller, and their pup Buster Brown share a blended family of five daughters, grandchildren, and recently welcomed their first great-grandchild. One of their grandsons, Logan is even chasing his dream in Major League Baseball with the Anaheim Angels.
A Multi-Faceted Career Built on Integrity and Reinvention
Peggy holds a degree in Medical Technology, Peggy worked in hospital laboratories for over two decades, ultimately serving as a supervisor in Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation. Later, she returned to school to pursue Electrical Engineering and worked as a MUMPS programmer, developing hospital system interfaces. While she found the technical challenge fulfilling, Peggy realized she missed personal connection—and that realization led her down a new path.
After years in clinical and technical settings, Peggy shifted her career to real estate. The change allowed her to combine her analytical strengths with her natural people skills. “What truly inspired me to get my real estate license was seeing how overwhelming and impersonal the process could be,” she says. “I wanted to be the kind of Realtor who not only solved problems but truly listened and guided with care.”
Resilience in the Face of Change
Like many small business owners, Peggy has faced challenges. Making a career transition meant starting over—building a new network, learning new tools, and gaining trust in a competitive market. She embraced the process, using her analytical mindset to grow a client-first business. She also didn’t waste time pivoting to offering virtual tours, remote consultations, and safety-first practices as soon as the pandemic occurred.
