Before founding Collective Contracting Co., Robert and Madeline spent over 16 years in the landscape industry, gaining a deep understanding of how outdoor environments come to life. Over time, one specialty kept rising to the surface: lighting. They found themselves drawn to the way illumination could transform a space—adding ambience, dimension, and a sense of joy for their clients.

That passion eventually became impossible to ignore. In 2021, they took a bold leap, selling their landscape company to pursue lighting full-time. It was a transformative decision that marked the beginning of a new chapter—one built around the belief that lighting is not just a service, but an experience.
