Velvet After Dark

The Bellas women took over Velvet & Verde boutique on the Square in Granbury, Texas—and it was fabulous.

When the cutest boutique in Granbury Square, Velvet & Verde invites you in after hours, you know it’s going to be good. Glammed up with soft lighting, wine and food, the Bellas women mixed and mingled among racks of gorgeous finds, including first looks at the fall styles. The mix of lovingly curated gifts as well as both timeless and trendy styles offers something for everyone and I found myself making a mental Christmas list.

D'Vine Wine, where custom wine making sessions including custom labels may just be the Christmas gift idea of the year, provided a wine tasting of 4 delicious wines with something for everyone from bubbles to a big red. Kyle Flaherty, owner of White Lion Wine Pairings, was on hand pouring the wine with small bite pairings to fortify the shoppers as they perused the beautiful store.

The night ended with one lucky fashionista winning a huge gift basket, courtesy of Aubree and Angela Sklar, mother and daughter owners of Velvet & Verde, and everyone left with smiles and dualing swag bags: A selection of items from Forever29 Medspa and a literal mixed bag of items provided by Prime Life Pilates and several Granbury Merchant Associates.
