By all outward appearances, Trip Littleton is a man of many careers. But peel back a layer, and you’ll find one relentless operating system driving it all: precision, responsibility, and purpose. Littleton joined the Marine Corps in the aftermath of the September 11th attacks, when many young, patriotic Americans stepped forward to serve. More than two decades later, that decision continues to shape every aspect of his life. Today, he is a Colonel-select in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, a commercial airline captain, and the founder of General Striping, a growing pavement-marking and coatings company in Fort Worth, Texas. He also serves on the board of directors for the Cowtown Executives Association, a business networking group built on integrity and trusted referrals—values he lives by daily.

Littleton’s military journey began at a time when the nation needed leaders willing to step up. Since raising his right hand in early 2002, he has served in combat deployments and high-level planning assignments, including strategic duties at CENTCOM J3/J5. For him, the rank and ribbons matter less than the outcomes—the ability to make a difference, lead Marines, and deliver results with real-world consequences.

As a captain for American Airlines, Littleton brings that same disciplined mindset to the skies. Sitting in the left seat of an Airbus, he sees more than just a flight—he sees a mission. Crew leadership, passenger safety, and execution under pressure aren’t distractions from his military career; they are natural extensions of it.

What began as a straightforward striping company has grown into General Striping, LLC, a lean but scalable operation known for epoxy coatings, athletic court installations, and parking guidance technology.

Littleton doesn’t just oversee the business; he engineers it. 

Every layer—from QuickBooks workflows to epoxy flake ratios—is designed with efficiency, precision, and accountability. For him, coatings aren’t just materials.
