A Milestone worth Celebrating!
With caps in the air and bright futures ahead, the Class of 2025 has made their families, schools, and community proud. Stroll the Hill Section joyfully celebrates their achievements and the exciting adventures that await as they begin this next chapter.
Logan Berlinger graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mira Costa. A passionate outdoorsman, he enjoys rock climbing, surfing, mountain biking, and skiing. He volunteered with Amigos Unidos and assisted ski instructors at Deer Valley Resorts. This fall, he’ll join the Honors Mechanical Engineering program at the University of Utah.
Fred Brown graduated from Mira Costa High School with consistent honor roll recognition. He was captain of the swim team and holds the 50 freestyle, two relay, and Bay League 100 freestyle records. This fall, he’ll attend Emory University to swim and study finance at the Goizueta Business School. Outside the pool, Fred enjoys surfing, pickleball, and spending time with friends.
Willow Edwards graduated from Mira Costa High School, where she served as president of the National Honor Society and was recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction. A passionate global thinker, she earned awards in Model UN and was selected as a Girls State delegate. Willow founded the local Circle of Women chapter, played four years of varsity soccer, and developed sustainability programs for underserved youth. She will attend Duke University to study environmental science, public policy, and entrepreneurship.
Hayden Levin graduated from Mira Costa High School and will attend USC to study environmental science. A dedicated athlete, he played goalkeeper for four years and competes nationally with Beach FC in the Elite Clubs National League. Passionate about service, Hayden volunteered at the Roundhouse Aquarium, earning the Presidential Service Award. He also enjoys surfing, golfing, and fishing—activities that reflect his love for nature. Hayden looks forward to combining his interests with his studies at USC.
Brock Lewis graduated from MCHS as a scholar athlete consistently achieving honor roll and playing 4 years of Varsity hockey. Outside of school, he was involved with club hockey with the LA Jr. Kings as well as pursuing his other passion of playing music. A cofounder of MCHS’ Car Club, Brock also works part time at 405 Motoring. Brock will be continuing his studies at the Fisher School of Business at The Ohio State University as a Finance major. Logan Mesko graduated salutatorian at Rolling Hills Preparatory School. He is a member of the national honor society, and has received Scholar/Athlete awards, keeping his GPA above a 4.5 average. He excelled at several sports and was captain of football, soccer, baseball and the surf team. He completed 4 years with Amigos Unidos philanthropy group, and several years as a builder in Mexico with Homes of Hope. Logan is following his heart to CU Boulder, where he will study business while enjoying his love for snowboarding and the outdoors.
Katie Phillips graduated from Mira Costa High School in June. While at Costa, she was a part of Mustangs of Hope, and played for the lacrosse team. Outside of school she likes to snowboard, travel, surf, and go to the beach, especially on high UV days. Katie will be studying nursing at the University of Utah. Go Utes!
Luke Phillips graduated from Mira Costa High School. While there he was part of the Mustangs of Hope club, had two awesome seasons on the volleyball team, MUN, and continually hit people for four years as center on the football team. Outside of school, he likes to surf, snowboard, travel, and do "outdoor boy' things. Luke will be studying political science at Montana State University.
Aiden Rockwell graduated from St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, CA, where he participated in both football, including on their 2022 national championship team, and track, where he ran the 300 hurdles and anchored the 4x400 relay team. Aiden will be attending the University of Miami to study Sports Administration in the School of Education and Human Development.
Maggie Ryan, a graduate of Mira Costa High School, will attend the University of Missouri this fall with the prestigious Black and Gold Academic Scholarship. A four-year MCHS cheerleader and Varsity Cheer Captain, she earned All-American honors twice and helped lead her team to a 2025 CIF State Championship. An accomplished Irish dancer, Maggie qualified for the World Championships four times and won a national title with the Claddagh School. She’s excited to rush at Mizzou this fall.
Henry “Dash” Seiffer is a proud 2025 graduate of Mira Costa High School. Dash will be heading to Rhodes College in Memphis this fall, where he plans to major in Business or Psychology. A dedicated athlete, he played close defense and LSM on Mira Costa’s varsity lacrosse team all four years, serving as captain his senior year. He also competed with South Bay, Berserkers, and Silverbacks club teams, and is excited to continue his lacrosse journey at the NCAA DIII level with the Rhodes Lynx.
Race Serota, a 2025 graduate of Harvard-Westlake, earned honors including the AP Scholar Award and Silver Medal on the National Spanish Exam. A varsity soccer standout and team captain, he led his team to CIF and league championships. He also captained Sand & Surf Soccer Club and pursued pilot training. Active in community leadership and philanthropy, Race will study Economics at the University of Michigan.
Jessica Tell graduated from Vistamar High School, where she has been a passionate performer in theater productions all four years—her favorite role being Abigail in The Crucible. At Vistamar, she also made her directorial debut with You, The Jury and performed with the Vocal Jazz Ensemble and Choir. Selected to the Theater Board as a sophomore, she helped oversee the department. She earned the Visual and Performing Arts Award and Idyllwild Scholarship. Jessica also danced competitively with Fifth Row’s Advanced Company and is an advanced certified scuba diver. She will attend the University of Washington, double majoring in Marine Biology and Acting.
