How long have you lived in the Hill Section?
I grew up in the Hill Section and my parents are still in my childhood home on Dianthus!
What breed is your pet?
Our sweet dog, Winnie, is a yellow lab and is 18 months old.
Why did you get you Winnie?
We have always had dogs. My kids love animals and our family does not feel complete without a fur baby.
Is there a story behind her name?
Winnie was a little butterball as a puppy. When we first saw her she was sitting up with a little round belly and resembled Winnie the Pooh. So, we named her Winnie.
Anything special about your pet?
Winnie has the best personality. She is very sassy and is very good at communicating with us. She loves her walks, loves the ocean and is very playful. She also knows when you just need a good cuddle.
Are there any great stories about her?
We brought Winnie to Sun Valley, Idaho this Christmas. It was her first time on an airplane and she got absolutely spoiled. There is an amazing dog park in Sun Valley that used to be a golf course where dogs get to run free. I think playing in the snow with her buddy Finn for the week was definitely a highlight for her and all of us.
Anything else we should know about your dog?
Winnie can be found walking on the chip trail every day and at Down Dog Lodge a couple of times a week. Next time you see us come say HI! You are guaranteed to get a big wet Winnie kiss!
