Fire Starter author, Stacey Harmon, is at it again, penning her second novel, which takes place in a community that may seem… a little familiar to The Manor Country Club residents.

“Two of the characters from my debut novel Fire Starter try to leave the past behind and move to a gated community where lives are threatened, neighbors are suspicious, mayhem and worse take place,” says Stacey.

Is Stacey spilling secrets about her neighbors behind the gates? Of course not, it’s just fiction!

With decades of experience in the insurance industry, Stacey combined her expert knowledge with creativity and a passion for writing to launch her debut novel, Fire Starter, in the spring of 2024.

The first in a three-part series, Fire Starter, tells the story of a family that owns an insurance company. Their business and personal lives are attacked, culminating in murder, begging the question: will the family succumb to the Fire Starter? The novel keeps readers guessing until the very end.

“When I started writing Fire Starter, my mom, niece, sister, and I had our own book club. My sister always guessed the killer,” says Stacey. “I was thrilled when she couldn’t guess the killer in Fire Starter! There are a lot of twists and turns that purposely mislead the reader.”

With rave reviews from her first book, her next novel is bound to keep readers guessing as it plays out in a community familiar to some.
