I was working with Diahann Carroll as her personal fashion stylist, and she invited me to help her redo the dining room of her Upper West Side apartment. After that, I was drawn to interior design even though I had studied fashion design in college. I'm a big believer that design is design no matter the genre.

What makes your business unique?

Our design process is highly personal and collaborative, allowing us to deliver unique one-of-a-kind interiors specifically reflecting each setting and each individual. We go beyond what our clients have envisioned, taking them on a journey and delighting them with our imagination.

What do you love most about design?

I love the connection with our clients once the trust factor has clicked in, allowing us to go on a design journey together. It's a very personal experience between client and designer and I don't take that trust for granted. 

Considering the number of design firms in Naples, I'm very pleased Jeffrey Fisher Home has been as well-received as it has since arriving in 2016. I don't strive for global domination; I like working on interesting projects with good people. If in the next few years we are blessed to see a continuation of our business as it has been, I'd be a very happy man.

At JFH, we pride ourselves on not following design trends but rather creating timeless interiors. We understand the financial investment our clients commit to and we want to help them avoid costly errors in following wavering trends. 

We've been working on a legacy lake house in Northern Wisconsin that has been extremely rewarding in terms of collaborating with a talented team out of state. We just finished an extensive renovation plus addition project here in town, and Q1 of 2026 will see the completion of a modern new build that we've been a part of for the last 2.5 years.

What's YOUR favorite design genre? Reflective of how I design, I don't necessarily have a favorite genre as such - I love a mix of contemporary, art deco, maximalism, and mid-century. All that to say, if done correctly, all genres should be able to live harmoniously in one space. 

Experience. My team and I have collectively faced most every design challenge out there and we know how to navigate those challenges so that our clients don't have to.

I am forever inspired by travel and recently returned from a 2-week trip through Japan. The food, the design, and the structured simplicity of both did not disappoint!
