Celebrating the Season, Moorings Style

The Moorings shined bright during the 5th Annual Holiday Golf Cart Parade, filling our neighborhood with joy, creativity, and community spirit. Come reminisce with us as we revisit the highlights of this magical evening.

The Moorings lit up once again for the 5th Annual Holiday Golf Cart Parade, a beloved neighborhood tradition that seems to grow more joyful every season. This year’s showstopper was the enchanting winning entry, “The Naples Express”—a two‑cart train inspired by The Polar Express, complete with swirling “steam,” drifting “snow,” and all the cinematic magic of the classic holiday film. Three creative families teamed up to design this unforgettable masterpiece, delighting neighbors of all ages as it chugged down the parade route.

The evening overflowed with festive cheer—kids bundled up with warm cocoa, neighbors sharing cookies and laughter, and tables filled with sweet treats that kept the holiday spirit glowing. It was one of those nights that reminds everyone why The Moorings feels like such a special place to call home.

A heartfelt thank‑you goes out to the generous sponsors who helped make the celebration shine. That 1 Painter donated the delicious cookies for our cookie table, while Lauren Willmering  and her father of Alfred Robbins Realty Group kept everyone cozy with sponsored hot cocoa. SWFL Aquahunter Charters added extra excitement by gifting the winning cart a complimentary shelling tour, and DC Florida Exclusive Services contributed a full house cleaning for the lucky winners. We’re also grateful to Dunkin’ Donuts and the Koroghlian Family, cherished Moorings residents, for sponsoring the donut‑hole “Snowballs” that were a hit with kids and adults alike.
