Neil and Sharon Jacobs have made The Resort their home since June 2007. They are the proud parents of four grown children—Russ, Troy, Cassie, and Jesse—and have nine grandchildren aged 2 to 18. Three of their children live in the Fort Worth area, while one resides in Broken Arrow, OK.

Originally from Brooklyn and Long Island, Neil and Sharon’s journey has taken them through Honolulu, Hawaii, Miami, Florida, and Atlanta, Georgia, before settling in Texas. Neil retired from his career as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer, and Sharon is a retired teacher. Their sons, Russ and Troy, have followed in their father's footsteps, both becoming Federal Law Enforcement Officers. Cassie works for a prominent medical company, and Jesse is a chiropractor at Freeform Chiropractic in Keller, TX. The couple also has a miniature dachshund named Tucker.

Neil is an alumnus of the City University of New York, while Sharon graduated from Adelphi University in Hempstead, NY, and C.W. Post College in Westbury, NY. All four of their children are graduates of the University of North Texas.

In addition to their life in Texas, Neil and Sharon have a home in Hawaii, where they travel back and forth, often with stops along the way. They find similarities between Hawaii and Texas, as both have distinct and vibrant cultures. In Hawaii, they enjoy local cuisines such as Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, and Filipino food, while in Texas, they savor BBQ and Mexican dishes.

When in Texas, they cherish spending time with friends at The Resort, often gathering with them at the clubhouse on Friday evenings. The friendships they’ve formed at The Resort hold great value for them.

Neil and Sharon love watching their grandchildren play soccer, football, and basketball on weekends. They take great joy in being involved in their grandchildren's activities and cheering them on at their sporting events.
