Nudera Orthodontics Celebrates 20 Years!

When brothers and doctors Jim and Bob started Nudera Orthodontics, they never imagined the strong community connections and relationships that would grow with it.

Nudera Orthodontics is celebrating 20 years in May, what has that journey looked like, and what
are you most proud of along the way?
As we approach 20 years of Nudera Orthodontics this May, we find ourselves feeling incredibly grateful
more than anything else. When we first opened the practice, our goal was simple: to serve people well,
treat every patient like family, and become a positive part of the community. I could never have imagined
just how meaningful the journey would become.

Over the past two decades, our practice has grown alongside the families in our community. We’ve had the privilege of meeting thousands of patients, watching kids grow up, and in many cases now treating the children of our very first patients. That continuity is something that means a lot to us because orthodontics is about more than just straightening teeth - it’s about relationships, trust, and being part of
people’s lives at important moments.

How has technology changed orthodontics, and how have you adapted?
Over the past 20 years, orthodontics has been transformed by digital technology. Traditional impressions have largely been replaced by digital scanners that create precise 3-D images of teeth in seconds, allowing us to design treatment more accurately and even produce appliances with 3-D printing.

Artificial intelligence is also beginning to enhance how we analyze tooth movement and monitor treatment
progress. Staying at the forefront has meant continually investing in new technology and education so we can make treatment more comfortable, efficient, and precise for our patients.

What sets Nudera Orthodontics apart when it comes to patient experience and care?
My brother and I built the practice together, so the culture has always been very family-oriented. We want every patient and parent who walks through our doors to feel comfortable, welcomed, and genuinely cared for, because orthodontic treatment is a journey we share with families for a couple of years.

We’re also very focused on customer service. That means respecting people’s time, communicating
clearly, and making each visit a positive experience for both kids and parents. At the same time, we invest in advanced orthodontic technology so we can provide treatment that’s more precise, comfortable, and efficient.

When you combine a family atmosphere, a team that truly cares about service, and the latest technology, it
creates an experience where patients feel supported from the first visit to the day their new smile is
complete.

Being part of the local community for so long, what do you enjoy most about serving families in
this area?
We are incredibly proud of the connection we’ve been able to build with the community. From supporting
local schools and events to celebrating milestones with our patients, our team has always shared the
same commitment to kindness, service, and doing things the right way. The culture we’ve built together is
something we are deeply proud of.

Looking back, the journey has been humbling. I’ve learned so much from our patients, our team, and the
families who have trusted us over the years. Reaching 20 years really feels less like a milestone and more
like a moment to say thank you - to everyone who has been part of the story.

For families considering orthodontic treatment, what advice would you give when choosing the
right provider?
When families are considering orthodontic treatment, we always encourage them to remember that you’re
not just choosing a treatment plan, you’re choosing a relationship. First, look for a provider who takes time to listen. Every smile and every family is different. The right orthodontist should make you feel comfortable asking questions and should clearly explain the options, timing, and goals of treatment. You should never feel rushed or pressured.

Second, pay attention to the experience your family has in the office. Orthodontic treatment is a journey,
and it should feel welcoming every step of the way. A practice that truly values customer service will
make scheduling easy, respect your time, and treat your child with patience and kindness. At the end of the day, the right provider should make your family feel valued, informed, and cared for - because orthodontics is about much more than teeth. It’s about helping people feel confident in their smiles and supported along the way.

You’ve been a valued partner of Stroll for over a decade, what has that relationship meant to you
and your team?
Our relationship with Stroll has been incredibly meaningful to our practice over the past decade. What
we’ve always appreciated is how it truly celebrates the families and connections that make our community
special. As a family-oriented orthodontic practice, that aligns perfectly with our values. Stroll has helped us stay connected with local families in a very personal way. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share our story, celebrate our patients, and continue building relationships within the community we’re proud to serve.
