An event of books, conversation, and community brought nearly 65 women together at Tiburon for a special author event featuring Valerie Thurston and her new book, Food Poisoning: A Family Saga of Love, Betrayal, and the Fight for Legacy. The novel has quickly gained momentum, becoming an Amazon bestseller. 

Valerie brought 50 copies of her book, and every one of them sold before the event concluded. Many attendees who arrived after the books were gone purchased copies through Amazon so they wouldn't miss the opportunity to read the highly talked-about novel.
