Lou & Roo: The Kings of Cuddles
After helping heal their family's hearts, these inseparable Cavalier brothers have filled every day with adventure, affection, and unconditional love.
If you've ever met Louie and Rudy, chances are you've been greeted with wagging tails, soulful eyes, and an invitation to sit down—because these two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels would much rather curl up in your lap than spend time chasing squirrels.
Jim and Michelle Larsen have called the neighborhood home for nearly 27 years, and these lovable brothers have quickly become cherished members of the family. After saying goodbye to their beloved Cavaliers, Bentley and Lexi, the Larsens took time to heal before welcoming Louie into their lives. They made the trip to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, to bring him home, and a year later, returned for Rudy. Today, affectionately known as "Lou" and "Roo," the pair are inseparable best friends.
Known for their gentle personalities, Lou and Roo have a way of melting hearts with their big, expressive eyes. While Roo has mastered the art of dancing on his hind legs, both pups are happiest when they're snuggled up with their family, playing tug-of-war or fetch with their favorite stuffed toys, or enjoying a well-earned nap.
The brothers also love traveling in the family's Sprinter van, especially on adventures to Florida and Colorado. Closer to home, they're content watching golfers from the deck, visiting Chalco Lake, or simply spending time with Jim and Michelle—their favorite playmates of all.
If Lou and Ron could plan the perfect day, it would include a mountain hike, a beach full of seagulls to bark at, plenty of snacks, and, of course, endless cuddles with the people they love most.
