Margot Wurzbacher

Tierra Verde’s Littlest Ray of Sunshine

Five-year-old Margot Watkins is already living her best Florida life! A Junior Kindergartener with a heart as big as her smile, Margot is full of energy, creativity, and curiosity, and she’s making waves in her Tierra Verde neighborhood and beyond.
From gymnastics to beach days, this outgoing little girl packs a lot of adventure into her days. Margot has been doing gymnastics for more than two years and loves flipping, bouncing, and balancing with her teammates. When she’s not tumbling, you’ll probably find her swimming, whether it’s in her backyard pool or out enjoying the saltwater at Pass-a-Grille Beach. And earlier this year, she showed off her speed and determination by completing the 5K on the Runway at Tampa International Airport, clocking in at a 14-minute mile! And, of course, she also loves attending Rowdies games.
Margot also has a serious love for music. Whether it’s a Broadway soundtrack, a pop hit, or a classic holiday tune, she’s got the lyrics down after just a listen or two. She’s the queen of carpool karaoke, and her family can confirm she knows every word to the Mufasa soundtrack after seeing The Lion King at The Straz.
Her favorite hangouts include playgrounds, Camp Wurzbacher (aka Nana and Papa’s house, right here on Tierra Verde!), and anywhere near water. As her family says, Margot is a true Florida girl through and through. Her favorite foods? Queso, just like Mom! Her favorite holiday? Christmas, especially if it includes her beloved Grinch movie on repeat.
Whether she’s belting out tunes in the car, running races, or exploring the beach, Margot brings light and laughter to everyone she meets. Tierra Verde is lucky to have this bright and bubbly young achiever in our community!
