Everett Duke Richards

His days are action-packed and he's always ready for an adventure!

If you spot a tiny blur zooming around Tierra Verde with a toy truck in one hand and eyes locked on a passing garbage truck, you’ve likely just met Everett Richards.
Everett is a little boy with big curiosity and even bigger energy. “He’s like a wild animal—in the best way,” laughs his dad, Samuel Richards. “Always learning, always exploring, always moving and grinning. He’s got three things going on at once.”
Everett has a passion for anything with wheels. Street sweepers, garbage trucks, drag racers—if it moves and makes noise, he’s all in. The Richards family even took a trip to Rome recently, where they toured ancient history museums and iconic landmarks. Everett’s favorite part? “The street sweeper outside the museum,” Samuel says with a smile.
And yes, Everett has his own truck. A miniature, bright-orange Raptor—just like Dad’s. “When I brought it home, he walked right up, put one hand on his toy truck and the other on mine, and grinned from ear to ear,” says Samuel. “He’s not totally sure how to synchronize the gas pedal and steering work yet, but he fits in it—and that’s what counts.”
Everett’s love for vehicles might run in the family. With roots in construction, mechanics, and hands-on work, it’s no surprise he’s fascinated with how things move and operate.
Between weekend truck rides, train sets, and cat cuddles at home, Everett is also learning to swim. The family recently upgraded their pool area, and he’s well on his way to becoming pool-safe and confident in the water.
One thing’s for sure—whether he grows up to be an engineer, builder, or race car driver, Everett Richards is already zooming full-speed ahead into life.
