From the first day of kindergarten to their final walk across the stage, these graduates have left a lasting mark on Tierra Verde. To each and every one of them — we see you, we celebrate you, and we can’t wait to see what’s next!
Riley Bussman
Riley Bussman is a graduate of St. Petersburg High School and has lived in Tierra Verde for the past four years. Some of Riley’s favorite high school memories include the school pep rallies and football games, which made her high school experience especially exciting and memorable. Throughout school, she stayed actively involved in several extracurricular activities, including Medical Club, HIP, NHS, and Environmental Club. In Fall 2026, Riley will attend University of South Florida, where she plans to major in Nursing. Riley says her biggest inspirations are her parents, who motivate her every day through their hard work, love, and dedication to providing a wonderful life for her and her sister. She admires their caring nature and says they constantly remind her how loved and supported she is.
Skylar Brown
Skylar Brown is a graduate of Osceola Fundamental High School and has lived in the neighborhood for the past 15 years. One of Skylar’s favorite high school memories was spending time with friends and making lasting connections throughout the years. During high school, Skylar participated in several extracurricular activities, including culinary, color guard, and theater. After graduation, Skylar plans to attend veterinary technician school and pursue a career working with animals. Skylar says the people most admired are their parents, whose hard work and dedication provided everything they have today. Their support and sacrifices have been a constant source of motivation and gratitude.
Zen Zoey Gross
Zen Zoey Gross graduated from St. Petersburg Catholic High School after living in the neighborhood for four years. One of her favorite high school memories was Homecoming, a time filled with excitement and school spirit. Art was an important part of her high school experience and a creative passion she truly enjoyed. After graduation, Zen plans to attend Florida Atlantic University on a full scholarship. She greatly admires her mother for her hard work, sense of style, and creativity. Her mother’s love of fashion and strong work ethic have inspired Zen’s own passion for art and fashion.
