Strawberry Festival Celebrates America 250 on June 13th

The Topsfield Historical Society’s 57th annual Strawberry Festival on June 13th will be the biggest and best yet, with a wonderful array of artisans selling handmade wares, live music all day, an antique car show, and delicious strawberry shortcakes.
New this year will be the True North beer truck, more games for kids, and a Revolutionary War camp on the Gould Barn lawn, to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence. Festival goers can tour Colonel Bailey’s Regiment tent encampment and interact with soldiers demonstrating everyday camp life. There will be a live timber frame building demonstration, exhibits in the Gould Barn, and tours of the Parson Capen House.
The Festival will take place June 13th, 10 to 4, on Topsfield Common and the Parson Capen House and Gould Barn grounds. Parking and entry are free, and the event is rain or shine.
