Holiday on Main

Santa will arrive by fire truck, the Commons will light up, and neighbors will gather downtown as Topsfield’s Holiday on Main returns December 5 from 4–7 p.m.
Alongside the festivities, residents can help brighten the town through event sponsorships and the annual Memory Tree tradition.
An Evening on Main Street
Holiday on Main brings a full evening of seasonal activities to the center of town, with admission free for all. Browse the artisan market, take a hay ride and explore the food trucks and vendors. Santa’s arrival by fire truck and the lighting of the Commons are among the highlights, along with the presentation of the Maryellen McGee Award.
Whether you’re shopping for gifts or bringing the family to see Santa, mark your calendar for this longstanding Topsfield tradition.
A Light in Their Memory
The Topsfield Memory Tree will return to the Pocket Park for the holiday season, offering residents a way to remember loved ones. A contribution of $25 per name lights a bulb on the tree, and loved ones’ names will be displayed in the Pocket Park, at the library and in Stroll Topsfield.
To participate, send a check payable to Topsfield Community Partnership, 31 S. Main St., Topsfield, MA 01983, or contribute through Venmo @TopsfieldHoliday. Include your loved one’s name in the payment memo.
Help Light Up Topsfield
Businesses and community members can support the celebration through the 2026 Light Up Topsfield sponsorship program. Levels include Bronze at $200, Silver at $300+, Gold at $500+ and Platinum at $1,000+.
