Stella's Favorite Place Is Home
Whether she's playing with the grandchildren or racing to visit her Labrador cousin, this gentle German Shepherd has become a treasured member of the Basile family.
Meet Stella–a beloved German Shepherd who is proud to call the Basile family home. Adopted from Fox Hill Farm & K9 in Amesbury, Massachusetts, Stella began her chapter with the Basiles in December 2017.
Ever since her arrival, this eight-year-old pup has brought endless warmth, joy, and affection to everyone around her.
“I’ve always wanted a German Shepherd,” says Angela Basile. Angela has lived in Topsfield for a year alongside 12-year-old Angelina, 10-year-old Jack, and 5-year-old Adrianna. In fact, it was Angela’s granddaughter, Angelina, who gave Stella her name.
When asked about Stella’s personality, Angela describes her as a “very sweet and gentle girl who loves meeting people and other dogs.”
Stella also loves playing fetch and especially being around her favorite people—her family. When Angela’s grandkids are on the floor, Stella doesn’t hesitate to join them to play, ensuring that laughter is always a constant in the Basile household with her lovable and infectious energy.
While Stella loves her human friends, her furry best friend would be Scout. Scout is a black Labrador Retriever owned by Angela’s son, Jimmy, and daughter-in-law, Paige. When Stella finds out she gets to visit her cousin, she bolts straight to the door, impatient to get in the car.
It's easy to see why Stella has captured the hearts of the Basile family. Stella is much more than a pet—she's a cherished companion.
