Sheila Fest Fundraiser Kicks Off with a Successful Pickleball Round Robin

On August 10th, the Traditions community came together to kick off the highly anticipated Sheila Fest Fundraiser with a lively Pickleball round robin. The event saw an impressive turnout, with 32 enthusiastic players battling it out on the courts, cheered on by fans and spectators. The Pickleball community’s efforts paid off, raising $1,000 to contribute toward the annual fundraiser.

But the excitement doesn’t end there—mark your calendars for the main event, the Sheila Fest Music Festival, happening on October 19th! The festival promises to be a day filled with live music, fun, and community spirit. Gates open at 11 a.m., with the first musical act hitting the stage at noon. The event will take place in the grassy area next to the Owner’s Clubhouse and Pool Area, offering a spacious setting for festivalgoers to relax and enjoy the tunes.

Be sure to bring your canopies, chairs, and coolers to make the most of the day! Tickets are $25 per person in advance or $30 at the door, and kids aged 15 and under will be admitted for free. Proceeds from the festival will support iServe Ministries, ESP (Extra Special People), Legacy Youth Mentoring, and Apalachee High School—making this a wonderful way to give back while having a great time.
