From Kobe's Wisdom to Championship Glory

Aasher Gill's Hard Work Strikes Gold on the Baseball Diamond!

Aasher Gill certainly believes in the power of hard work. He shared with Stroll a mantra he lives by, a quote from the legendary Kobe Bryant: "Hard work outweighs talent every single time." And the evidence of his belief shines through, at least it did recently. Aasher has been a dedicated member of the Bayville Locust Valley travel baseball team (10U) for multiple seasons. This spring, their dedication paid off as they clinched the top spot in the 10U league at the Long Island Hot Stove Championship. Aasher had the honor of taking the mound as the starting pitcher that game, and I'd say the team was lucky to have a pitcher who makes putting in the practice a priority.
