Brenton and his wife moved to Venetian Isles in early 2024 and brought big plans with them. Their home on Overlook Drive NE has since undergone a full renovation, transforming it into a 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom layout that suits both their growing family and modern living standards.

Originally from Australia, Brenton met his wife (a Buffalo native) in Los Angeles back in 2018. They relocated to Florida in 2023 to be closer to family and found exactly what they were looking for in Venetian Isles: water access, a quiet and safe neighborhood, and proximity to both St. Pete and Tampa.

Their renovation focused on opening up the home and upgrading the finishes throughout. Outside, they added a custom pool and spa, along with a spacious screened-in lanai that’s become the family’s favorite spot. They also worked with EDA Landscaping to reimagine the yard with Florida-friendly plants like Foxtail Palms, Liriope Super Blue, and Giant Apostle Irises. Poolseye helps maintain the setup, keeping it all in top shape.

With a toddler and a newborn at home, the Garens designed the space to support everyday life as well as future entertaining. The result is a home that’s not only functional but also adds to the evolving look and feel of Venetian Isles.
