Kenny and Lauren Fardales, the owners of Luxury Auto Precision in Victoria Park, recently celebrated their first year in business at Cafe Vico.

Many of us have seen their shop as we drive through Victoria Park or on Sunrise Blvd. It always is very busy, and there are many European and exotic cars and vehicles.

“What sets us apart is that we are owner operators. I am involved with every car,” Kenny explained. “We do the job the right way and always want to satisfy the customer.”

Both Kenny and Lauren were born in Miami and raised in Hialeah.

From a young age, Kenny was very mechanical and wanted to find out how things worked.

His grandfather is a machinist, and Lauren’s father is a mechanic.

“Since I was a kid, I would take apart every single thing in the house and put it back together,” Kenny said.

As a teenager, Kenny started working on cars in the driveway of his mother’s house.

“When I was 15, I would go to a Mercedes shop and sweep the floor,” Kenny said. I watched the owner, Alex, work on cars, and he showed me a little bit here and there. He started to let me do stuff, and then I moved up and started to do a lot more. He’s the one that got me into Mercedes.”

At the age of 20, Kenny began working at Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay. Three years later, he moved to Mercedes-Benz of Miami where he was an AMG Specialist and Lead Sprinter Vans tech.

Kenny got his ASE Certification which is Automotive Service Excellence.

In 2015, Kenny left Mercedes-Benz and opened his first repair shop in Hialeah.

“I decided I wanted to go into business for myself. I wanted to help people in a more affordable and efficient way,” Kenny said.

“People bring him stuff that they can’t figure out,” Lauren stated. “When there’s a big problem, he’s the guy. As cars evolve with new technology, they get more complicated. You have to keep learning and stay on top of it and Kenny does that.”

In October 2023, Kenny, Lauren and the kids attended the Big Toy and Truck Extravaganza in Holiday Park. Afterwards, they went to Fort Lauderdale Beach to grab lunch at Lona. On the way, they drove by their current location, which was empty, and there was a big For Lease sign out front.

Lauren said, “We came down Sunrise Blvd., and Kenny saw the place and said, ‘Yeah, I want this!’ We called the number, and the owner got back to us, and we made an appointment. We then saw the place, and we liked it.”

About three weeks later, the owner offered them the location, and the lease was signed.

“It made sense for us to make the move, and we put everything that we had into this,” Lauren said.

The first year has been very successful, and everyone really likes the quality work and excellent customer service. Kenny has over 15 years of experience and is always keeping up with the latest trends and updates because things are constantly evolving.

“You have to continuously be looking at systems and how they work,” Kenny emphasized.

When the car is ready, Kenny will personally look over everything and make sure the job has been done properly.

“I always do quality control when the car is done to make sure that when you sit in that car, you sit in the car with confidence.”

Outside of the shop, Kenny and Lauren enjoy spending time with their four children, Samantha (17), Elizabeth (12), Alexandra (5) and Kevin (4). Son Kevin is already following in his father’s footsteps.

The family enjoys boating on their 36 foot boat and going out to restaurants. They also enjoy their pool and having barbecues.
