Diamond Athletics is a premier training facility offering recreational and competitive baseball, softball, and strength training on one side of the facility, and dance, cheer, and tumbling on the other. Founded by Nick and Kelli (Talley) Santos, Diamond Athletics was built on a strong foundation of collegiate and professional athletic experience, paired with a deep passion for mentoring young athletes. DA is passionate about helping our athletes in the recruitment stage for collegiate opportunities as well as preparing for their school teams. 

Diamond Athletics was established with a simple yet powerful vision: to develop athletes for the next level in a positive, high-energy environment that focuses on coaching the whole athlete. The staff at DA is committed not only to skill development but also to building confidence, character, and discipline. More than just a training center, Diamond Athletics is a community-driven organization dedicated to teaching life lessons through competitive sports while helping athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field.

The inspiration behind Diamond Athletics stems from the founders’ and coaching staff having a lifetime of experience in their respective sports and their desire to create a place where athletes could receive high-level training close to home. Recognizing the need for structured skill development and performance training in the local area, the Santos family created a space where hard work, accountability, and teamwork are at the core of every program. DA is the only facility in the area of its kind, where the whole family can be under one roof with high level training in all areas. 

Diamond Athletics offers a wide range of services designed to meet athletes at every stage of their journey. Programs include Select Baseball and Softball, team strength and conditioning, year-round fundamentals classes, competitive cheer and dance teams, as well as recreational cheer, tumbling, and dance classes ages 3+. Whether an athlete is just beginning or striving to compete at the highest level, Diamond Athletics provides expert coaching and customized programming to support their goals.

What truly sets Diamond Athletics apart is its commitment to individualized attention and long-term athlete development. Coaches focus not only on physical performance but also on mindset, leadership, and personal growth. Athletes are treated like family, and the supportive culture fosters resilience, confidence, and a strong work ethic.

Diamond Athletics is deeply connected to the local community. The organization supports local teams, partners with schools, and contributes to numerous nonprofit organizations. Many athletes from surrounding neighborhoods, including Twin Rivers residents, train regularly at the facility and credit the program for improving both performance, confidence and a family culture.

Looking ahead, Diamond Athletics plans to continue expanding its programming, hosting camps and clinics, and increasing community outreach. The organization welcomes area baseball, softball, cheer, and dance teams to make DA their home for weekly practices in its indoor facility and turf fields. Currently located in Midway ISD off Highway 6 and Speegleville Road, Diamond Athletics is also developing a new training facility less than a mile from River Valley Middle School. The organization has acquired over 14 acres on Speegleville Road, where new turf baseball and softball fields are ready for use and an expanded training facility is coming soon.
